Navagio Beach – Most Spectacular Beach in Greece

Navagio Beach is one of the most famous and most photographed beaches in Greece. It is isolated sandy cove on Zakynthos IslandNavagio Beach is also known as the tomb of the metal boat, because here in the white sand is half buried ship Panagiotis. The beach is also known as “Gulf of smugglers”, because of the story for the ship origin (ship for smuggling ), which today is a trademark of Zakynthos Island. The ship was washed ashore and with the years passing was surrounded by the sand.  The vestiges of the ship can be seen in the middle of the large white sandy beach. There are huge vertical cliffs of white rocks surrounding the sand which create an amazing and enchanting image.

This fantastic beach is accessible with boats and ships. Тhere is a taxi boats on every hour from the ports Porto Vromi and St. Nicholas. The Navagio Beach in Greece, just like any other beach in Greece offers a crystal clear water and a white sand, which is just one of the reasons why it attracts many tourists every year.
