Fishes belong to the group of “cold-blooded” animals. This means that their body temperatures changes, as the ambient temperatures changes. Some of it like the tuna and the white shark can hold a higher cold temperature. These animals can be found in every aquatic environments. From mountain streams to the deepest point of the oceans.

Although fishes can’t live without water there are some who can stay on dry up to several days. These kind of fish can breathe air via a number of mechanisms. Some of them can breathe through their skin, some can breathe through their digestive tracts.
